CITY OF FRIDLEY
NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improve-
ments hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 16th day of July,
1962, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at the City
Hall in said City, and will at said time and place hear all persons
interested in said improvement, in who ;e or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in
the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements,
to -wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM:
A. Water and Sanitary Sewer Mains, Laterals and certain Service
Connect?ons located in all of the streets and serving all of
the area described as follows:
Marshall Street from 37th Avenue N.E. to the south boundary line
of Minneapolis Waterworks and lying between East River Road and
the Mississippi River.
ESTIMATED COST ........ ..............................$ 28,840.00
THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS IS AS
FOLLOWS:
FOR CONSTRUCTION ITEM A, ABOVE:
All of the land abutting upon said streets named above and
all land adjacent, abutting and lying within the boundaries
described heretofore.
All of said land to be assessed pro ortionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improve-
ments as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise pro-
vided by the Council all under the following authority, to -wit:
Minnesota Laws 1853, Chapter 398, and laws amendatory thereof,
and in conformity with the City Charter.

A RESOLUTION RECEIVING M PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC
HEARING ON TIIE MATTER OF 71E CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMZATS:
WATER AiVD SANITARY SEWER MAINS, LATERALS AND CERTAIN SERVICE CONS
NECTIONS ( W & S PROJECT N0. 50)
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed
to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property
owners affected thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley,
as follows:
11 That the preliminary report submitted by Comstock and
Davis, Incorporated, Consulting Engineers, and the City
Engineer, is hereby received and accepted.
2 That this Council will meet on the 16th day of July,
1962, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of
Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the
improvement noted in the Notice attached hereto and made a
part thereof by reference, Exhibit "A."
3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improve-
ments and each of them as noted in said notice are all the
lands and areas as noted in said notice: All of the same
to be assessed proportionately according to the benefits
received.
4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to
give notice of such Public Hearing by publishing a notice
thereof in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley
according to law, such notice to be substantially in the
form and substance of the notice attached hereto as Exhi-
bit "A."
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS
