RES 1962-60 - 0001240668 RESOLUTION NO. 60 -1962 A RESOLUTION DETER - "LINING AND ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID READS AND STREETS IN THE CITY OF FRIDLEY WHEREAS, the City of Fridley is entitled to certain aids and bene- fits provided by law in the location, establishment, construction and maintenance of certain roads and streets in the City of Fridley common- ly known as Municipal State Aid Streets; and WHEREAS, it is necessary that such streets be located and desig- nated by resolution of the Council of the City of Fridley, and such loca- tion and designation be approved by the State of Minnesota Highway Depart- ment; WHEREAS, the Minnesota Highway Department has indicated a desire to establish the location of M.S.A. No. 306 crossing Trunk Highway No. 47; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Frid- ley as follows: 1. In accordance with the requirements of the laws of the State of Minnesota applicable thereto, the City of Fridley does hereby relocate in the City of Fridley and establish and designate as Municipal State Aid Streets, in accordance with the requirements of law, the following public roads and streets, each of them to be identified by number as follows: Municipal State Aid Street No. 306 - Commencing at Trunk Highway No. 47 at the center -line extended easterly of 69th Avenue N.E. and thence north- easterly 11000 feet more or less to existing M.S.A. Route No. 306. and in like manner does hereby revoke the present designa- tion of that portion of M.S.A. Route No. 306 described as: Commencing at Trunk Highway No. 47 about 350 feet north of the south line of Section 11, T -301 R -24, Anoka County, Minnesota, thence east- erly about 950 feet. 2. That a true and correct copy of this resolution and the loca- tion, relocation, designation, revocation and numbering of Municipal State Aid Streets in the City of Fridley as deter- mined by this resolution may and shall be forwarded by the City Clerk as provided by law to the State of Minnesota High- way Department; and upon the approval and consent of said Department thereto, the determination and designation shall be full and complete without further fact or resolution of the Council.
