RES 1962-72 - 0001242378 The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Johanson, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Greig, Johanson, Wolke, Nee. and the following members voted against the same: none WHEREUPON SAID RESOLUTION WAS DECLARED DULY PASSED AND ADOPTED. RESOLUTION NO. 72 -1962 , RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT, A "PROVAL OF PLANS AND ORDERING READVERTISING FOR BIDS (STORY. SEWER AND WATER PROJECT NO. 58) WHEREAS, pursuant to proceedings duly taken and resolutions dult passed (Resolutions No. 42 -1962 dated 21 May 1962.• No. 46 -1962 dated 4 June, 1962; and No. 54 -1962 dated 18 June, 1962j, the Council has heretofore ordered the construction of certain improvements (de- noted as STORM SO4ER. SANITARY SEWER AND WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NUMBER 58), and, WHEREAS, it appears that the construction bid (as noted in Res- olution No. 63 -1962 dated 16 July, 1962) therefor purportedly received from PIANCONI CONSTRUCTION COhTANY was not the true and bona fide bid of said contractor. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley, as follows: SEC. 1: The order of'construction heretofore made is confirmed: the plans and specifications therefor of the engineers, together wjth such modifications and changes as noted therein and now ' resubmitted to the Council for approval are accepted and .aporoved; all of such work including the modifiactions and changes noted in said plans and specifications shall be des i- *nated as STORM SEWER, SANITARY SEIrE.R, AND WATER IMPROVE- MENT PROJECT NO. 58. SEC. 2: That the City shall readvertise for construction of such work, and a new notice of bids shall be published calling for bids to be submitted at noon on the 20th day of August, 1962. The notice shall be in substance in accord with Exhibit "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference. SEC. 3: A public hearing shall be held on August 27, 1962, at 8:00 P.M. relative to additional work prOT)osed to be performed as noted in the notice hereof attached hereto as Exhibit "A ". The construction of such additional work and the ordering thereof shall be held in abeyance pending the results of such hearing.
