RESOLUTION NO. 82 -1962
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL FLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS - STREET
SURFACING - STREETS 1962 -2.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 66 -1962 of the City Council adopted the
16th day of July, 1962, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements,
as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference
as Exhibit "A" and
WHEREAS, All of the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed
with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice) were given ten (10)
days mailed notice and published notice of the Council hearing through two (2)
weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing was held and the
property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, As follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution #66 -1962
are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably
possible to -wit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of hearing on the
same as are noted (in Exhibit "A ") in said notice attached hereto
for reference except (pending further determination of the Council)
- - - - - Items A4. A7, A179 A19, A26, A27, A29, A352 A36, as noted
in said notice.
' That the work above may be consolidated with other areas as one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be performed under one
or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
3. The City Engineer is hereby designated as the Engineer for this improvement.
He shall prepare final plans and specifications for the making of such
improvement.

A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND
ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS ( BACK -WASH DRAIN -
FILTRATION PLANT)
BE IT RESOLVED By the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interests of the City and the property
owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements,
to -wit:
a.) A back -wash drain line for connection use and use with the
filtration plant of the City of Fridley.
2. That Comstock and Davis, consulting engineers are hereby author-
ized and directed to draw preliminary plans and specifications
and to tabulate the reiaults of their estimates of the costs of
said improvements and to make a preliminary report of findings to
the City Council when the same are prepared, not later than the
earliest date convenient.

NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minresota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improve-
ments hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 30th day
of July, 1962, at 8:00 P.M., the City Council will meet at the
City Hall in said City, and will at said time and place hear all
parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction, (in

All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improve-
ments as separate improvements, extent as hereafter otherwise pro-
vided by +,he Council all under the following authority, to —wit:
Minnesota La,as 1953, Chapter 398 and laws amendatory thereof, and in
conformity with the City Charter.
