The work to be performed under STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NUMBER 53, shall be performed under one contract. The City Manager shall accordingly prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper advertisements for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and ' specifications. The advertisement shall be published for two (2) weeks (at least 10 days), and shall specify the work to be done and will state that bids will be opened and considered at 12:00 Noon, on the A,th day of September, 1962, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk, and accompanied by a cash deposit, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City for five percent (5") of the amount of such bid. BRUNSELL RESOLUTION NO. 92 -1962 A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENTS, APPROVAL OF PLANS, AND ORDERING ADVERTISING FOR BIDS. WHEREAS, the Resolution No. 69 -1960 of the City Council adopted the 7th day of June, 1960, set the date for hearing on the proposed improve- ments, as specifically noted in the notice of hearing attached hereto for reference as EXHIBIT "A ", and, WHEREAS, all the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice) were given ten (10) days notice of the council hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice. NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That the following improvements heretofore proposed by council resol- ution (see Resolution No. 69 -1060, dated June 7, 1960) and ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible pursuant to Resolution No. 76 -1960, dated June 21, 1960 and now partially per - formed (See Resolution No. 78 -1960, dated June 21, 1960 and "esolu- tion No. 12 -1961, dated March 7, 1961 and others) are now hereby further ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible to -wit: (a) Those improvements noted in the notice of hearing on the same (in Exhibit "A" attached hereto for reference and incorporated herein) 11_ comprising the work of the following, namely: Water lines and appurtenances, w'''.ich work and portion of said improvements is hereby designated as WATER Ib, .OVEV&NT PROJECT 1c0. 34-K. 94 2. The plans and specifications prepared by Comstock and Davis, Inc., Con - sulting Engineers, for such improvement and each of then., pursuant to the Council resolutions, heretofore ado_ted, a copy of which plans and speci- fications are hereto attached and made a part hereof, are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk. 3. "92 -1962 EXHIBIT "A" W -34K CITY OF FRIDLEY NOTICE OF HL'ARING ON IMPROVEMIENTS Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City Of Fridley will meet at the City Hall in said City on the 3rd day of October, 19610 at 8:00 P.N., to hear and pass upon all objections, if any, to the proposed assessments in respect to the following improvement to -wit: WATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 34 The proposed assessments roll for each of said improvements is now on file and o -)en to public inspection by all persons inter -sted in the office of the Clerk of said City. At said hearing, the Council will consider written or oral objec- tions to the proposed assessments for each of said improvements. Ft. 12" to 6" 'dater Lines with Apurtenances. All in accordance with plans and specifications prepared for the City of Fridley, Minnesota, by Comstock and Davis, Inc., Uon- sulting Eng n ers, 1446 County Road "J ", Minneapolis 21, Minnesota, Telephone: SUnset 4 -9346. Plans and specifications may be examined at the office of the City Manager, and copies may be obtained for the Contractor's indi- vidual use by apply`ng to the Engineers and depositing with the Engineers "25.00 for each set. The deposit will be refunded to each bidder submitting a bonafide bid upon return of the documents in good condition within ten days from the date of opening bids.
