RESOLUTION NO. 97 -1962
RESOLUTION DESIGNA'T'ING POLLING PLACES AND ELECTION JUDGES
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Fridley,
Minnesota, at a regular meeting thereof on August 20, 1962
Section 1. That on the llth day of September, 1962, there shall be a
' City election for the purpose of voting on the following:
ELECTION OF: Various City Offices
Various County Offices
Various State Offices
Section 2. That the County and State Primary election will also be held
on the 11th day of September, 1962.
Section 3. That the polling places for said election sha31 be as follows:
Ward 1 - Precinct 1 - Woodcrest School
Ward 1 - Precinct 2 - Hayes School
Ward 2 - Jrp High School
Ward 3 - City Hall
.Section h. That the polling place will be open from 7:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M.
Section 5. That the following people are hereby appointed to act as
judges for said election except that the City Clerk is hereby authorized to
appoint qualified substitutes in cases of conflict of interest as set forth
in Chapter 49 Section 4.05 of the City Charter.
Mrs. LaVerne Hoffman
Section 5. Compensation for said judges will be at the rate of $1.50
per hour.
