The participants involved were treated courteously and with equality. Questions were listened to with attention and ptience. Good taste was shown in restraining applause on the pa.rt of the Mayor. Your office has previously been furnished with preliminary storm sewer cost computations on the above mentioned project by a letter dated August 10, 196, from N. R. Osterby, NIinnesota Highway Department's Hydraulic Engineer. The Fri.dley participating portlon for mains and manholes on T.H. 7 mainline construction plus catch basins and leads on the frontage road construction was estimated at $2,373.00, excludi.ng 6;o for the City's share of engineering costs. Therefore, including enginee ring costs this tentative figure would be approximately $25,835•00. We are now enclosing an additional tabulation of the City of Fridley's anticipated share of roadway construction based on our customary 75 - S,tate and 2%a - City ratio. In this case the roadway participation amounts to a share in the cost of curb and gutter construction for the frontage roads'only. The tentative figure as indicated in the attached tabulation (Form No.21150Aj amounts to approxi.matel 7,665.00 which includes 6; for tY City's share in e ngineering costs.
