RESOLUTION ORDERING
RESOLUTION NO. 13 -1964
OF RIGHT -OF -WAY - GUNDERSON TERRACE
WHEREAS, by previous resolutions of the Council of the City of Fridley
a plat for certain lands owned by G. A. Gunderson has been considered and
approved, and
WHEREAS, in connection with said proposed plat it is necessary to have
a roadway on the North 50 feet of the East 75 feet of Lot 15, Auditor's
Subdivision No. 129, Anoka County, Minnesota, and
WHEREAS, the said G. A. Gunderson has escrowed with the City of Fridley
a sufficient sum to compensate the City for the expense that it may have
in connection with the acquisition of said land above described, and
WHEREAS, said improvement is necessary and a street easement is
necessary, and that said easement cannot be acquired by negotiation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of
Fridley as follows:
I. It is necessary for the purpose of street improvement that a
street easement be acquired over the North 50 feet of the East
75 feet of Lot 15, Auditor's Subdivision No. 129, Anoka County,
Minnesota.
2. The attorneys for the City are authorized and directed to acquire
such easement by condemnation action in Anoka County District Court.
