A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION OF RIGHT -OF -WAY FOR
EXTENSION OF 73RD AVENUE FROM TRUNK HIGHWAY 47 TO THE EAST
RIVER ROAD
WHEREAS, there is a need to acquire a right-of-way for exten-
sion of 73rd "venue N.E. from Trunk Highway No. 47 to the East
River Road,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Fridley, Minnesota as follows:
1. That it is necessary for the purpose of completing the
street system of the City of Fridley to acquire a 60 foot right -of-
way for the purpose of extending 73rd Avenue N.E. from Trunk High-
way No. 47 to the East River Road.
2. That the legal descriptions and parcels involved in such
acquisition shall be prepared by the Fridley Engineer.
3. That Hall, Smith, Hedlund, Juster, Forsberg and Merlin,
attorneys for the City, are authorized and directed to acquire such
right -of -way by condemnation action in Anoka County District Court
and purchase cannot be negotiated from the owners.

DAY OF JUNE, 1964.
