RESOLUTION NO. 157 -1964
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND

BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as
follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the pro- ,
perty owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements
to -wit:
a) Sanitary Sewer and Water Mains and Laterals and Service
connections.
1) County Road H (69th Avenue N.E.) from Central Ave-
nue to East City Limits.
b) That petitions relative to said improvements have been
received and filed with the City as follows:
1) Petition No. 28 -1964 relating to Item a (1) above.
2. That Comstock and Davis, Incorporated, Consulting Engineers,
are hereby authorized and directed to draw preliminary plans and
specifications and to tabulate the results of their estimates if the
costs of said improvements, including every item of cost from incep-
tion to completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incur-
red) in connection therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make
a preliminary report of their findings, stating therein whether said
improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made as pro-
posed, or in connection with some other improvements (and the esti-
mated cost as recommended), inclu? - also-a description of the lands '
or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to
be assessed.
3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and add-
ress of the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within
the area of lands as may be proposed to be as-.;essol f;r saic. im rove -
:1t; ';xnd each of them); and, upon receipt from said Engineer of
said preliminary report, calculate estimates of assessments as may
be proposed relative thereto against each of said lands.
4. That said preliminary report of the Engineer and estimates
of assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and
made available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as
may be affected thereby at any public hearing held relative thereto,
as well as at any prior time reasonable and convenient.
