A RESOLUTION ORDERING CONDEMNATION FOR EASEMENTS FOR SEWER
AND WATER UTILITY PURFOSES - EAST SIDE uF EAST RIVER FAD
WHEREAS, there is a need to acquire easements on the east ide
of East River Road in the said City of Fridley extending from 7 st '
Way Northeast, northerly to 73rd Way Northeast, and being the right -
o£ -way formerly used by the Minneapolis, Anoka and Cuyuna Range
Railroad Company, and from 73rd Way Northeast north approximately
400 feet.
NOW, THEREFIRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Fridley, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That it is necessary for the purpose of furnishing water
and sewer service to the land lying east of East River Road
and west of the railroad tracks, and between 71st Way North-
east and 73rd Way Northeast; that the Minneapolis, Anoka and
Cuyuna Range Railroad right -of -way being thirty (30) feet in
width be acquired by the City of Fridley.
2. That it is necessary for the purpose of furnishing water
service that the following lands be acquired by the City of
Fridley:
Parcel 1: The west twenty feet (20') of the north ninety
feet (901) of the south one hundred eighty feet (1801) of
Lot 19, Revised Auditor's Subdivision No. 77, all located
in Section 10, T -30, R -24, County of Anoka, State of Minne -'
sota.
Parcel 2: The west twenty feet (20') of the south ninety
feet (90') of Lot 19, Revised Auditor's Subdivision No. 77,
all located in Section 10, T -30, R -24, County of Anoka,
State of Minnesota.
Parcel: The west twenty feet (201) except the south one
hundred eighty feet (1801) of Lot 19, Revised Auditor's
Subdivision No. 77, located in Section 10, T -30, R-24,
County of Anoka, State of Minnesota.
3. That the attorneys for the City are authorized and direct-
ed to acquire such lands by condemnation action in Anoka
County District Court.
