RESOLUTION NO. 190 -1964
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRELIMINARY PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUC-
TION OF CERTAIN IMPROVIAIMENTS: STuRM SEWER #71
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed to
be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property owners
affected thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley, as
follows:
.1. That.the preliminary report submitted by Comstock and Davis,
Incorporated is hereby received and accepted.
2. That this Council will meet on the 28th day of September,
1964, at 8:00 o'clock -P.M. at the City Hall. in the City of
Fridley for the purpose of holding a Public Hearing on the
improvement noted in the Notice attached hereto and made a
part thereof by reference Exhibit "A ".
3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements
and each of them as noted in said notice are all the lands and
areas as noted in said notice; all of the same to be assessed
Proportionately according -to the benefits received.
4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to give
notice of such Public Hearing by ;;ublishing a notice thereof
in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley according to
law, such notice to be substantially in the form and substance
of the notice attached hereto as Exhibit "A ".
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, THIS STH
DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1964.

NOTICE OF HEQING ON IMPROVEMENTS

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improve-
ments hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 5th day of
October, 1964, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at
the City Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place, hear
all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in
the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements,
to -wit:

Storm Sewer and appurtenances in and serving the area bounded as:
Commencing at the intersection of 64th Avenue N.E. and T.H. #47
(University !:venue N.E.), thence east along 64th Avenue N.E. to
5th Street N.E., thence north along 5th treet N.E. to Missis-
sippi Street, thence e Mississippi on ississippi Street to 7th Street,
thence north on 7th Street to 67th 'venue N.E., thence west on
67th Avenue N.E. to 4th Street N.E., thence north on 4th Street
N.E. to Rice Creek Terrace, thence northerly and westerly on
Rice Creek Terrace to 2nd Street N.E., thence south on 2nd Street
N.E. and 2nd Street N.E. extended southerly to Satellite Lane,
thence easterly on Satellite Lane to T.H. h47 (University Avenue)
to the place of beginning.
