RESOLUTION NO. 21 -1964
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF THE NECESSARY
FUNDS TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR THE PURPOSE
OF TAKING CARE OF A 1965 CENSUS IN THE CITY OF
FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, heretofore the City of Fridley has by Resolution
determined that it is necessary and in the best interest of the
City to have a census taken in 1965, pursuant to law, and
WHEREAS, under date of December 30, 1963, the Department of
Commerce has made an estimate of the cost for the taking of said
census, namely the sum of $4,835.00, and has required the Finance
Director of the City of Fridley to furnish to the Bureau of Census
certain papers and instruments and a check for $1,970.00 to cover the
cost of the supervisor's expenses, tabulation of results, and other
items in connection with the census.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Fridley, Minnesota:
1. That the matters set forth in the Department of Commerce
letter dated December 30, 1963, be accepted and approved.
2. That the City shall directly send a check for $1,970.00
to the Bureau of Census to cover the costs.
