RES 1964-210 - 00011861RESOLUTION NO. 210 -1964 A RESOLUTION ORDERING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR SEWER AND :_TER PROJECT NO. 70 ' WHEREAS, Resolution No. 203 -1964 of the City Council adopted the 28th day of September 1964, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A", and WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of these improvements, (as noted in said notice) are to be given ten (10) days publish- ed notice of the Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publica- tions of the required notice, and the hearing will be held and the property owners will be heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows: 1. That the final Plans and Specifications for the follow- ing improvements proposed by Council Resolution No. 203 -1964 are hereby ordered. a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A") in said notice That the work above may be consolidated with other areas as one improvement. 2. Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, are hereby designated as the engineers for this improvement. They shall prepare final plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. Nee I 1 V I RESOLUTION NO 210 -1964 (Continued) OFFICIAL PUBLICATION CITY OF FRIDLEY (EXHIBIT A) NOTICE OF HEARING ON L "TPROVEMENTS W'TER AND SEWER PROJECT #70 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improve- ments hereinafter described be made. NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 19th day of October, 1964, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at the C.ty Hall in said City, and will at said time, and place, hear all parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part. The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to wit: CONSTRUCTION ITEM A. Water Lateral and Service Connections and Sanitary Sewer Lateral and Service Connections located in all of the streets and serving all of the area described as: 1) Lincoln Street as proposed from Ironton Street to Ely Street. 2) 5th Street from Highway #100 South to existing utilities. 3) Riverview Terrace from 6_4J Way to Mississippi Place. B. Water Lateral and Service Connections located in the following street and serving all of the area described as: 1) Stinson Boulevard from Gardena South to South edge of -Lot 44, _Auditor's Subdivision No. 92. C. Sanitary Sewer and Service Connections located in the following street and serving all of the area described as: 1) Ironton Street from East edge of Herwall Addition to Pro- posed Lincoln Street. ESTIMATED COST . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $44,673.75 THAT THE AREA PRDiOSED Tv BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENT IS AS FOLLOWS: For Construction of Items A, B. and C, above - - - - - - - - - - All of the land abutting upon said streets named above and all lands adjacent and abutting thereto. All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to the benefits received by such improvements. That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improvements as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise prov'ded by the Council all under the following authority, to- wit.
