RESOLUTION ASKING THE MINNESOTA STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT TO
CLOSE THE CROSS OVER CF TRUNK HIGHWAY NO. 47 ^OR RICE CREEK
TERRACE
WHEREAS, a study has been made by the Engineering Office of the
City of Fridley as to necessity and reasonableness of continuing a
cross -over onto Trunk Highway No. 47 on Rice Creek Terrace, and
WHEREAS, it-appears that it is to the best interest of the
health, safety and welfare of the City of Fridley that the existing
cross -over of Trunk Highway No. 47 at Rice Creek Terrace and within
the City of Fridley, :_noka County, Minnesota, be closed.
NOW, THEREFORE, hE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FRIDLEY:
That the Manager of said City be directed and-authorized to
communicate with the State of Minnesota Department of Highways urging
said Highway Department to proceed at once to close the cross -over of
Trunk Highway No. 47 for Rice Creek Terrace within the City of Fridley.
