A RESOLUTION DECLARING EXISTENCE OF A VACANCY ON THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY
WHEREAS, Glenn W. Johanson, Councilman-at-Large has tendered
his resignation to the Council, and
WHEREAS, said Councilman -at- large, Glenn W. Johanson, .,as
elected on November 6, 1962 to serve as Councilman- at- l_,rg_e for
the period of January 2, 1963 to January 4, 1966, and
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Fridley, Chapter 2, Sec-
tion 2.05, Vacancies in the Council, provides for the filling of
vacancies in the Council by appointment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley:
1. That Glenn W. Johanson has resigned from the office of Council-
man-at-Large of the City of Fridley.
2. That accordingly the Council hereby declares a vacancy to exist
in the office of Councilman -at- Large, City of Fridley.
3. That the Council shall proceed to fill the office of Councilman -
at- Large, City of Fridley by appointment until the next regular
municipal election, at which time the office shall be filled for
the unexpired term, in accordance with Section 2.05, Chapter 2,
of said Charter.
