A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ORDERING P_DVERTISENENT FCR BIDS - W- 34 -Q -2
' WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 39 -1964, passed by the
City Council of the City of Fridley on the 2nd day of ?Qarch, 1964,
Comstock and Davis, incorporated, the Consulting Engineers retain-
ed for the purpose, have prepared plans and specifications for the
following improvement:
Water Improvement Project No. 34 -Q -2: The well house
pumping installation and appurtenant facilities for the
Well No. 6.
AND WHEREAS, the final plans and specifications have now been
presented to the Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL ;F THE CITY
OF FRIDLEY:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which are attached
hereto and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the
official paper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertse-
ment for bids upon the making of such improvement under such
approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall
be published 21 days, shall specify the work to be done, shall
state the bids will be considered by the Council at 1:00
' o'clock P.M. on November 16, 1964, in the Council Chambers of
the City Hall, and that no bids will be considered unless
sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash de-
posit, cashier's check, bid 'bond or certified check payable
to the Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid.
