RESOLUTION NO. 244 -1964
A RESOLUTION RENAMING LINCOLN STREET NORTHEAST AND QUINCY
STREET NORTHEAST
' WHERE�3 , the street known as Lincoln Street Northeast from
79th Way to Ironton Street in the N2 of Section 3, Township 30,
Range 24 of the City of Fridley is shown on the plat of Ironton
Industrial Park P.ddition, and
WHEREAS, a request has been received to change the street
name of Lincoln Street Northeast from 79th Way to Ironton Street
to ASHTON AVENUE N.E.
AND WHEREAS, the street known as Quincy Street Northeast in
the NZ of Section 11, Township 30, Range 24, of the City of Frid-
ley as shown on the plat of Melody Manor, 3rd Addition, be elimi-
nated and that the cul-de -sac off Memory Lane be considered as
part of MEMORY LANE.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESCLVED by the City Council of the
City of Fridley that:
Section 1. Lincoln Street from 79th Way to Ironton
Street in the No of Section 3, Township 30,
Range 24 of the City of Fridley will hereafter be named
and known as ASHTCN "VENUE N.E.
Section 2. Quincy Street Northeast in the N2 of Section
11, Township 30, Range 24 of the City of Frid-
ley will hereafter be eliminated and that the cul-de -sac
off Memory Lane be known as 1,29,LRY LANE.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to register
said changes of street names with the proper
authorities for Anoka County.
