RESOLUTION NO. 250 -196
A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS FOR STREETS 1965 -3 AND APPROVING PLANS
AND PROVIDING FOR BIDS
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 243 -1964 of the City Council adopted '
the 2nd day of November, 1964, set the date for hearing on the pro-
posed improvement, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing
attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable
to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in
said notice) were given ten (10) days published notice of the Council
hearing through two (2) weekly publications cf the required notice,
and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the
hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THE_2EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Reso =! !.cation
No. 243 -1964 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as
soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of hearing
on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A ") in said notice.
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas as
one improvement, to be performed under contract let by Minne-
sota Department of Highways, in accordance with bids received. ,
2. The City Engineer and the Engineers of the Minnesota Department
of Highways are hereby designated as the Engineers for this
improvement and are authorized to prepare final plans and speci-
fications for such improvement. Further, such plans as noted
in the Minnesota Highway Department Agreement X54327, approved
by Council action on October 19, 1964, are approved.
3. The Minnesota Department of Highways is authorized to advertise
for bids for the performance of the work. Such bids shall be
received on the date called, tabulated, and a contract for the
work let for the benefit of the City; all pursuant to the co-
operative agreement approved by Council action on October 19,
1964.

NOTICE CF HEI.RII'dG ON IMPROVED sNTS
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1965 -3
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improve-
ments hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THI.T on the 16th day of
November, 1964, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at
the City Hall in said City, and will at said time and place hear all
parties interested in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in
the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements,
to -wit:

A. Curb and Gutter construction as follows:
1. B624 Curb and Gutter Construction:
a) On both sides of the west frontage road from 57th Ave-
nue N.E. to 57th Place N.E.
b) On the east side of the east frontage road from 57th
Avenue N.E. to 67th %venue N.E.
c) On the west side of the west frontage road from 61st
Avenue N.E. to Rice Creek Terrace.
2. S518 Curb and Gutter Construction:
a) On east side of east frontage road from Sta. 441+85
to Ste. 444 +31 at Osborne Road.

THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENT IS
AS FOLLOItiS:

All of the land abutting upon said streets named above and all
lands within, adjacent and abutting thereto.
All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to
the benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improve-
ments as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise nrovid-
ed by the Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minne-
sota Statutes 1961,"Chapter 429 and laws amendatory thereof, and in
conformity with the City Charter.
