RESOLUTION NO. 251 -1964
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFI-
CATIONS: STORM SEWER PROJECT NO. 73
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 239 -1964 of the City Council adopted
the 2nd day of November, 1964, set the date for hearing on the pro- I
posed improvements, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing
attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS. all of the property,owners whose property is liable
to be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in
said notice) were given ten (10) days published notice of the Coun-
cil Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required
notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard there-
on at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, TFiEREFURE, BE IT RESULTED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Reso-
lution No. 239 -1964 are hereby ordered to be effected and com-
pleted as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
a. All of the improvements as noted in the notice of
hearing on the same as are noted (in Exhibit "A ") in
said notice.
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas as
one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be per- ,
formed under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable
upon receipt of bids.
3. Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, are here-
by designated as the Engineers for this improvement. They
shall prepare final plans and specifications for the making
of such improvement._ -

NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
STORE SU,4ER PPI;JECT NO. 73
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that
the improvements hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 16th day
of November, 1964, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., the City Council will
meet at the City Hall in said City, and will at said time and
place hear all parties interested in said improvements, in whole
or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in
the lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements,
to -wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM
1. Storm sewer and appurtenances in and serving the area bounded
as:
Commencing at the intersection of 53rd Avenue N.E.
and University Avenue N.E. (T.H. No. 47), thence
east on 53rd Avenue N.E. to Madison Street as plat-
ted in Oak Hill Addition, thence north on ?Madison
Street and Madison Street extended to Madison Street
as platted in Temple Terrace 2nd Addition, thence
north on Madison Street and Madison Street extended
to T.H. #694 (T.H. ;100), thence west on T.H. 1%694
(T.H. ,',100) to its intersection with University Ave-
nue N.E. (T.H. #47.), thence south on University Ave-
nue N.E. (T.H. n47) to its intersection with 53rd
.venue N.E., the place of beginning.
pursuant to M.S.A. Sections 429.011 to 429.111.

The area proposed to he assessed for such improvement for all
or a portion of the cost of the improvement is the property con-
tained within the area above described.
