A RESOLUTION ORDERING -: ROVEMENT AND FINPII PLANS AND
SPECIFIC -TIONS t1ND ESTIMeTES OF COSTS THEREOF: iiUNICI-
PAL STATE AID IMPROVEM'IENT PROJECT - ST. 1965 -2
' - WHEREAS, Resolution No. 238 -1964 of the City Council adopted
the 2nd day of November, 1964, set the date for hearing on the pro -
posed improvements, as sneci'ically noted in the Notice of Hering
attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to
be assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said
notice) were given ten (10) days published notice of the Council
Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice,
and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at
the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council
Resolution No. 238 -1964 are hereby ordered to be ef-
fected and completed as soon as reasonably possible,
to -wit:
a) All of uhe improvements as noted in the notice of
hearing or. the same as are noted (in Exhibit "All)
in said notice.
I That the work above may be consolidated with other areas
as one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be
performed under one or more contracts as may be deemed
advisable upon receipt of bids.

3. The City Engineer is hereby designated as the Engineer
for this improvement. He shall prepare final plans and
specifications for the making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 7TH DAY

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improve-
ments hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 7th day of
December, 1964, at 5:00 o'clock P.M. the City Council will meet at
the City Hall in said City, and will at said time and pIpce hear all
parties interested in said improvements in whole or 4111 part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in
the lands -end streets noted below,' of the following improvements,
to -wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM
A. Street improvements, including grading, stabilized b -aoe, bitu-
minous surfacing, concrete curb and fitter and appurtenant
facilities, located as follows:
1) 73rd Avenue from Able Street to Highway No. 65 -
MSAP 27- 307-02
2) 7th Street from 53rd Avenue to Mississippi Street -
MSAP 27- 312-03
3) Main Street from 57th Avenue to 58th Avenue -
MSAP 27- 311 -02
4) 57th Avenue from University Avenue to 7th Street -
MSAP 27- 301 -02
ESTIMATED COST . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $207,983.24
THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVENE;NT IS
AS FOLLOWS:
For Construction Item A above - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
All of the land abutting upon said streets named above and
all lands within, adjacent and abutting thereto.
All of said land to be assessed proportionately according
to the benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improve-
ments as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provi-
ded by the Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minne-
sota Statutes 1961, Chapter 429rAnd `laws amendatory- thr;fieof, and in
conformity with the City Charter.
