BE IT RESOLVED by the Council cf the City of Fridley, as fol-
lows:
1. Tkiat it appears in the
interest of the City and of the pro-

there be constructed certain

bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, and incidental
drainage

2. That the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to
draw the preliminary plans and specifications and to tabulate the
results of his estimates of the costs of said improvements, includ-
ing every item of cost from inception to completion and all fees
and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection therewith,
or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of his
findings, stating therein whether said improvements are feasible
and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in connection
with some other improvements (and the estimated cost as recom.-nend-
ad), including also a description of the lands or area as may re-
ceive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be assessed.
3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address
of the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the
area of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improve-
ments (and each of them); and upon receipt from said Engineer of
said preliminary report, calculate estimates.of assessments as may
be proposed relative thereto against each of said lands.
4. That said preliminary report of the Engineer and estimates of
assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and
made available for inspection to the owner of any parcel cf land as
may be affected thereby at any public nearing held relative thereto
as well as at any prior time reasonable and convenient.

OF DECEMBER, 1964,
