A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING PERFORMANCE BY THE JOHN W. THOMAS
COMPANY OF ALL CONDITIONS FUR THE VACATION OF 64j AVENUE

WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of November, 1964, the Council of the
City of Fridley did adopt a resolution providing for the vacation
' of 6417 .venue ?Northeast lying North of Lot One (1), Block One (1),
Sylvan Hills Flat Five (5), ir. Section 14, Township 30, Range 24 in
the City of Fridley, County of Anoka, State of Minnesota, and
WHEREAS, the said resolution provided, as conditions for vaca-
tion of said 642' Avenue Northeast lying North of Lot One (1), Block
One (1), Sylvan Hills Plat Five (5), in Section 14, Township 30,
Range 24, Anoka County, Minnesota, that the owner of the reversion
Of said property, John W. Thomas Co., a corporation under the laws
of the State of Minnesota, should convey by quit claim deed the
North One -half (2) of vacated 642 :.venue Northeast lying North of
Lot One (1), Block One (1), Sylvan Hills Plat Five (5), in Section
14, Township 30, Range 24, Anoka County, Iinnesota, to Carlson - LaVine,
Inc.; that John W. Thomas Co. should grant to the City of Fridley an
easement for public utilities over the South One -half (2) of vacated
642 '-venue Northeast lying North cf Lot one (1), Block Cne (1), Syl-
van Hills Flat Five (5), in Section 14, Township 30, mange 24, Anoka
County, Minnesota; and that John S;. Thomas Co. should ag`�ree to pro -
vide a blacktop surface over the said South One -half (2J of vacated
642 Avenue Northeast lying North of Lot One (1), Block One (1), Syl-
van Hills Flat Five (5), in Section 14, Township 30, Range 24, Anoka
County, Minnesota, and
WHEREAS, the John W. Thomas Co. has conveyed by quit claim deed
the North One -half (2) of vacated 642 Avenue northeast lying Iorth of
' Lot One (1), Block One (1), Sylvan 'ills Plat Five (5), in Section 14,
Township 30, Range 24, Anoka County, Minnesota, to Carlson- LaVine,
Inc., and
WHEREAS, John ll. Thomas Co. has granted to the City of Fridley
an easement for public utilities over the South one -half (j) of vacat-
ed 642 ?;venue Northeast lying north of Lot One (1), Block One (1), Syl-
van Hills Plat Five (5), in Section 14, Township 30, Range 24, Anoka
County, Minnesota, and has agreed with the City of Fridley to provide
a blacktop surface over `le said South One -half (2) of vacated 642'
Avenue Northeast lying North of Lot One (1), Block One (1), Sylvan
Hills Mat Five (5), in Section 140 Township 302 Range 24, Anoka
County, Minnesota:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Fridley:
That the City Council of the City of Fridley does hereby acknow-
ledge the performance by John W. Thomas Co. of all the conditions for
the vacation of said 64 :;venue Northeast lying North of Lot One (1),
Block One (1), Sylvan Hills Flat Five (5), in Section 14, Township 30,
Range 24, Anoka County, Minnesota.
