RESOLUTION NO. 268 -1964
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIUNS, AND
ESTl1,1<_TF.S uF THE COSTS IEEREOF: WATER LINE FOR SKYWOCD MALL
SHOPPING CENTER
' BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, as fol-
lows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property
owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements,
to -wit:
a) :dater Laterals and Service Connections.
1. Along Highway #65 from existing Embers' line to 53rd
Avenue.
2. 53rd-Avenue from West side of Highway #65 to East side
existing utility.
2. That Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, are hereby
authorized and directed to draw preliminary plans and specifica-
tions and to tabulate the results of their estimates of the costs
- of said improvements, including every item of cost from inception
to completion and all fees and espenses incurred (or to be incur-
red) in connection therew'th, or the financing thereof, and to make
a preliminary report of their findings, stating therein whether said
improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made as pro-
' posed, cr in connection with some other improvements (and the esti-
mated cost as recommended), including also a description of the
lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may by pro-
posed to be assessed.
3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of
the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the
area of lands as may be proposed tc be assessed for said improve-
- ments (and each cf them); and, upon receipt from said Engir_eer of
said preliminary report, calculate estimates of assessments as may
be proposed relative thereto against each of said lands.
4. That said preliminary report of the Engineer and estimates of as-
sessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council, and
made available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land
as may be affected thereby at any public hearing held relative
thereto, as well as at any prior time reasonable and convenient.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY GLUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 21ST DAY
OF DECEMBER, 1946.
