A RESOLUTIONi ORDER1:G PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND
ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS THEF.EOF: ADDENDU14 NO. 1 - STREET IM-
PROVE1ENT PROJECT - ST. 1965 -1
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley as I
follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City of Fridley and the
property owners affected that there be constructed certain im-
provements, to -wit:
Street Improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -:nix
bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter and incidental drainage
and other facilities, located as follows:
(The petition received and filed by the City for the improvements
is indicated opposite to the relative street.)

2. That City Engineer, Nasim Qureshi, P.E., is hereby authorized and
directed to draw preliminary plans and specifications and to tabu-
late the results of his estimates of the costs of said improve-
ments, including every item of cost from inception to completion
and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connec-
tion therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary
report of his findings, stating therein whether said improvements
are feasible and whether they can best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvements (and the estimated cost as '
recommended), including also a description of the lands or area
as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be
assessed.
3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of
the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the
area of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improve-
ments (and each of them); and, upon receipt from said Engineer of
the said preliminary report, calculate estimates of assessments
as may be proposed relative thereto against each of said lands.
4. That said preliminary report of the Engineer and estimates of
assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council and
made available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land
as ma- be affected thereby at any Public Hearing held relative
thereto, as well as at any prior time reasonable and convenient.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, THIS 21ST
DAY OF DECEMBER, 1964.
