RES 1964-36 - 0001160846 RESOLUTION NO. 36 -1964 A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF: (STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1964 -1) BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows: 1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements, to -wit: a. Street Improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous mat, bituminous or concrete curb and gutter, and incidental drainage and other facilities, located as follows: (1) 77th Way or Avenue from East River'Road to Railroad Tracks. (2) Anna Avenue from Charles Street to 59� Way. (3) 2' Street from 57' Avenue to 58th Avenue. (4) 7th Street from Mississippi Street to 67th Avenue (Resurface) (5) 75th Avenue from'Central Avenue to Stinson Boulevard. (6 ) (7 ) (8) (9) (10) (11) (12) 68th Avenue from Channel Road to Highway #65. Brookview Drive (East -West portion) from Highway #65 West to end. 66th Avenue from Lucia Lane to Channel Road. Woody Lane South from preserr6- aur£acin to cul de sac (Meloland Lakeview Addition). 52nd Avenue from Taylor Street to Highway #65. 76th Avenue from Central Avenue to Arthur Street. Hayes Street-from Onondaga Street to-73rd Avenue. b. That petitions relative to said-improvements have been received and filed with the City as follows: (1) Petitions Nos. 5 -1963 and•4 -1963 relating to Item a (1) above. (2) Petition No. 20 -1963 (against) relating to Item a (2) above. (3) Petition No. 44 =1962 relating to Stem a (3) above. (4) Petition Nos. 31, 41, 43, 18- 1963 relating-to Item a (5) above. (5) Petition Nos-. 32 -1963; 37 -1963 relating to Item a (8) above. '(6) Petition Nos.•17= 1963-, 6 -1963 relating to Item a (9) above. (7) Petition No.-5-1964 relating to item a -(10) above. (8) Petition No. 42 -1962 relating to Item a (11) above. ' (9) Petition Nos. 13 -1962 and 24 -1963 relating -to Item a (12) above. 2. That'the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to draw the preliminary plans and specifications and to tabulate the results of his estimates of the costs of said improvements, including every item of cost from inception to completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of his findings, stating therein whether 47 RESOLUTION NO. 36 -1964 (Continued) said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements (and the estimated cost as recommended), including also a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be assessed. 3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (and each of them); and upon receipt from said Engineer of the said preliminary report, calculate estimates of assessments as maybe proposed relative thereto against each of said lands. 4. That said preliminary report of the Engineer and estimates of assessments of the Clerk, shall be furnished to the Council and made available for inspection to the owner of any parcel of land as may be affected thereby at any public hearing held relative thereto, as well as at any prior time reasonable and.convenient.
