RESOLUTION ORDERING A PRELIMINARY REPORT AS AN ADDENDUM TO SW#67
WHEREAS, Petition #14 -1964 for the improvement of a part of Washington
Street Northeast by the installation of water laterals has been filed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Fridley:
1. That the Petition requesting the improvement of Washington
Street Northeast in the 5700 block by the installation of water laterals
and on file with the City is hereby declared to be signed by the required
percentage of owners of property effected thereby. This declaration is
made in conformity to MSA Section 429.19.
2. The Petition is hereby referred to Comstock & Davis, Inc. the
consulting engineers for the City of Fridley and they are instructed to
report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in
a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and
as whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some
other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement is recommended.
