RESOLUTION NO. 84 -1964,
A RESOLUTION RELEASING LEXINGTON VILLAGE FROM'NORTH SUBURBAN
HOSPITAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, this municipality is included within the North Suburban Hospital
District, a district organized and existing pursuant to Minnesota Statutes,
Sections 447.31 to 447.37, inclusive, and including the areas of the City of
' Fridley and the Villages of Blaine, Hilltop, Lexington, Mounds View and Spring
Lake Park, and
WHEREAS, by Laws 1963, Chapter 300 the Legislature of the State of Minne-
sota has authorized the detachment of any city or village from the district by
the procedure provided for dissolution or for organization of the district,
which procedure requires approval by resolution of the governing body of each
of the municipalities comprising the District, and
WHEREAS, the Council of the Village of Lexington has by resolution
requested that the area of said Village be detached from the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley,
Minnesota, that the detachment of the Village of Lexington from the North
Suburban Hospital District, pursuant to the provisions of Laws 1963, Chapter
300, is approved by the City of Fridley.
