SUBJECT: Water Lateral Assessment on Lots 3 and 4,
Auditor's Sub. #155 (100 Twin Drive -In)
Some years ago the 100 Twin Drive -In ran a water service line
from 57th Avenue to their building on the Drive -In property. In
checking the assessments on Lots 3 and 4 for water lateral service
I find there is a total of $230.52 charged on the drive -in property
for water lateral service. This charge is on Lot 4, Auditor's
Sub. #155.
The owners of the 100 Twin Drive -In now propose running another
water service line from Quincy Street to their building at the drive -
in theatre. The question is whether there should be a water lateral
charge for this. The assessments which have been levied to date of
• $230.52 seem rather small for a property as large as the 100 Twin
Drive -In property. Lot 3 has no water lateral assessment whatsoever
at the present time. I suppose it is possible in the future that
the property will be developed in some other manner and other water
lines will have to be installed on the property. My question is
should additional water lateral charges be levied for this water
service line being installed on Quincy Street.

CITY OF FRIDLEY
This is to advise property owners, insurance companies, and other
interested parties that the following-notice has been affixed to
certain structures in the City of Fridley which were damaged in
the storm of May 6, 1965, and which have received previous notice
of condemnation.
DEMOLITION
NOTICE
The structure to which this notice is affixed has been
condemned by the City of Fridley as structurally unsound.
A building permit will not be issued for repairs to this
structure.
Prior notice of this action has been given.
• The premises has also been determined to be a threat and
hazard to public safety, health and welfare, and the
abatement of this hazard has been ordered by the City of
Fridley.
THIS NOTICE is to advise all interested parties that the
City of Fridley will act to demolish and remove this
hazard under disaster police powers on Monday, May 22, or
as soon thereafter as possible.
APPEAL FROM THIS ORDER and temporary delay of demolition
may be secured by notifying the City Manager of valid
reason for delay, and giving adequate assurance•to the
City that the hazard will be abated by private action no
• later than June 5, 1965.
