Gentlemen :
On May 26, 1964 I purchased lots # 23, 24# 259 26, Block n E n
Riverview Heights , after consulting with the City of Fridley
Building Inspector and receiving assurances that lots # 23, 24.9
259 26, did constitute two building sites .
Now, however , I have been advised that the council recomends
that each building site be composed of more than the two lots
required by the Building Inspector in May 1964, if there is
adjoining land available for purchase by the applicant -
Lots # 220 21, etc are owned by Mr Frank Johnson and may be
purchased only as part of a 16 lot parcel with buildings and
improvements at a cost of $17,000.00,, obvbusly this is not
feasable for the applicant
• Lots # 272 28, etc are owned by Mr Lawrence Boerner of EL Cajon ,
Calif. I called Mr Boerner this week and learned that the property
adjoining my lots was not for sale at any price .
Please consider this a request for permission for building
permits s one permit for lots #23 and #24 and one permit for;
dots # 25 and # 26 all in Block 1' E Riverview Heights Fridley,
Minnesota •

Dear Mayor Nee and Councilmen:
It is our understanding, that the City Council is now
considering the possibility of employing an outside
agency to place fencing around open basements and to
safeguard open stairwells of the tornado damaged homes
in the City of Fridley.
At this time we would like to offer the services of our
Post to perform this function. We have an over abundance
of man power and can use whatever profit we realize
from this venture to finance ou many childrens spdrts
• events within the City.
We wish to offer our bid of $55.00 per lot for fencing,
which would include three rolls of snow fencing and ten
steel stakes. Stairwell closing at $10.00 per home which
would include finch plyscore and bracing as needed.
It is understood that a listing of homes would be furnished
by the City and a contract drawn up between the City of
Fridley and our Post. I remain
