AWARDING OF EIDS - 55��12; Motion by Sheridan, seconded by Wright, to award the bid for pro�ect SS�F12 to Lametti and Sons, 2560 NorYh Cleveland Avenue, St. Paul, Minnesota 55113, in the sum of $966,830.00, sub�ect to the Administration obtaining written ' approval from the Minnesota Highway Department and Columbia Aeights of the final plans and specifications, and of this award. REPORT BY CONSi7LTING ENGINEERS OF SEWER CONNECTION NEEDS WITH N S 5 5 D, LINES - NOVEMBER 5, 1965; Motion by Wright, seconded by Kirkham, Co receive the report by Comstock and Davis, dated November 5, 1965, concerning possible needs of the City oi Fridley to connecC to the N.S.S.S.D. lines, Upon a voice vote, there Ueing no nays, Mayor Nee declared the motion carried. EMERGENCY ORDINANC& 9f319 AUTHORIZING THE INIMEDIATE CONSTRUCTION OF SANITARY SEWER LINE TO CONNECT WITH THE SEWER LINE OF THE NORTH SUBURBAN SANITARY SEWER DISTKICT: Mayor Nee explained that the purpose o£ this ordinance is to provide for connecting area 3 of the Crty of Fxidley, as delineaCed in the report by Comstock and Davis of November 5, 1965, with the North Suburban Sanitary Sewer District east/west trunk line north of Rice Creek. Motion by Wright, seconded by Sheridan, that in light of the emergency condition specified therein, the Council adopt this emergency ordinance -0�319 authorizing the immediate construction of a sanitary sewer line to connect with the sewer line of Che North Suburban Sanitary Sewer Da.str�rt, Upon a ro11 call vote, ' those voting aye: Nee, Kirkham, Sheridan, Wrlght, nay: none Mayor Nee declared the motion carried. Mayor Nee stated that theze were three items to be added to this special meeting for which there had Ueen no written notice, the items being; Consideration of a Resolution by the Fridley City Council concerning the City's responsibility for cooperation with Columbia Heights on a Sullivan Lake Outfall Pro�ect, consideration of firm quotations by contractors to connect axea 3 of the City of Fridley to the North Subur6an Sanitary Sewer District�s east/west trunk line north of Rice Creek, and a meeting with some members of the Hospital Board relative to possible waiver of certain. fire protection requirements for Unity Hospital. Mayor Nee stated that waiving of the twelve added items. FIRM QIIOTATTONS FOR CONSTRUCTION WORK CONNECTING AREA THREE TO N.S.S.S.D. TRUNK LINE• Councilman Sheridan opened the sealed quotations, and read same as follows: 1. Aandall-Berglin/F.D. Chapman Construction Co., $7,498. 2. Randall Brothers, $7,800. 3. Sandstrom and Haftter, Inc., $7,250. 4 Lametti and Sons, Inc., $6,975. 5. Petrowske and Ross Company, $7,350.
