RES 1965-128 - 00011422RESOLUTION NO. 128 -1965 A RESOLUTION URGING THE MINNESOTA STATE HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT TO STUDY DRAINAGE PROBLEMS IN AD- JOINING COMMUNITIES TO THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THAT HAVE RUNOFFS INTO THE CITY OF FRIDIBY WHEREAS, the Ramsey County League of Municipalities has begun a study of inter - municipal storm sewer constructions and WEREASO the City of Fridley has a number of drainage outlets: and drainage ways running into and across the city, including Rice Creek that serve the drainage waters of adjoining municipalities in both Ramsey County and Anoka County, and WHEREAS, it appears that the State Highway Department would be best able to make a study and suggest a drainage plan that would be harmonious to all of the municipalities involved including the City of Fridley. NOW, THEREFORE0 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF FRIDLEY AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Minnesota State Highway Department be requested and urged to make a study of the drainage and storm sewer problems that involve the inter - municipalities of Anoka and Ramsey Counties adjacent to the City of Fridley. 2. That the administrative staff and the consulting engineers and the Engineering Office of the City of Fridley be authorized and directed to furnish such information as may be helpful in said study.
