A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL
FOR WATER AND SEWER. IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 70
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the council on August 20 1965,
the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost
of Sanitary Sewer, Water and Storm Sewer.
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed
assessment roll has been completed and filed in his office for public
inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRIDLEY, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall in the City
of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, on the 23rd day of
August, 1965, at 8:00 P.M. to pass upon the proposed
assessment for Water and Sewer Improvement Project No. 70.
2. The City Manager shall publish notices of the time and
place of meeting in the official newspaper of the City,
at least two (2) weeks prior to such meeting.

OF AUGUST, 1965.

NOTICE OF HEARING OF ASSESSMENT
WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 70
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Fridley will meet
at the City Hall in said City on the 23rd of August, 1965, at 8:00 P.M.
to hear and pass upon all objections, if any, tothe proposed assessments
in respect to the following improvement to-wit-
WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 70
The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is not on file
and open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of
the Clerk of said City.
At said hearing, the Council will consider written or oral objections to
the proposed assessments for each of said improvements.
The general nature of the improvements and each of them is the- construction
of sanitary sewer mains and connecting lines and water mains and connection
lines in the lands and streets designated in manner as follows:
A. Water Lateral and Service Connections and Sanitary Sewer Lateral
and Service Connections located in all of the streets and serving
all of the area described as:
1) Ashton Street from Ironton to Ely Street
2) 5th Street from Highway #100 south to existing utilities
3) Riverview Terrace from 632 Way to Mississippi Place
The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them
is all that land benefited by said improvements or each of them and abbutting
on or lying adjacent to the above named street. Said improvements will '
be assessed against the properties within the above noted areas in whole
or in part proportionately to each of the lands therein contained according
to the benefits received. The total cost of the improvement is estimated
at $35,000.00
