RES 1965-136 - 00011433178 RESOLUTION NO. 136 -1965 A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STORM AND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 71 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the council on August 2, 1965, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of Sanitary Sewer, Water and Storm Sewer. WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment roll has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall in the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, on the 7th day of September, 1965, at 8:00 P.M. to pass upon the proposed assessment for Storm and Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project Number 71. 2. The City Manager shall publish notices of the time and place of meeting in the official newspaper of the City, at least two (2) weeks prior to such meeting. Nee L' J 179 CITY OF FRIDLEY ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA NOTICE OF HEARING OF ASSESSMENT STORK AND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT, PROJECT NO. 71 Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Fridley will meet at the City Hall in said City on the 7th of September, 1965, at 8:00 P.M. to hear and pass upon all objections, if any, to the proposed assessments in respect to the following improvement to -wit: STORM AND SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 71 The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is not on file and open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Clerk of said City. At said hearing, the Council will consider written or oral objections to the proposed assessments for each of said improvements. The general nature of the improvements and each of them is the construction of sanitary sewer and storm sewer mains and connecting lines in the lands and streets designated in manner as follows: A. Sanitary Sewer and Service Connections located in the following street and serving all of the area described as: 1) University Avenue - 64th Avenue to Rice Creek B. Storm sewer and appurtenances in and serving the following landss Commencing at the intersection of 64th Avenue N.E. and T.H. #47 (University Avenue N.E.), thence east along 64th Avenue N.E. to 5th Street N.E., thence north along 5th Street N.E. to Mississippi Street, thence east on Mississippi Street to 7th Street, thence north on 7th Street to 67th Avenue N.S., thence west on 67th Avenue N . E .. to 4th Street N.E., thence north on 4th Street N.E. to Rice Creek Terrace, thence northerly and westerly on Rice Creek Terrace to 2nd Street N.E., thence south on 2nd Street N.E. and 2nd Street N.E. extended southerly to Satellite Lane, thence easterly on Satellite Lane to T.H. #47 (University Avenue) to the place of beginning. The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them is all that land benefited by said improvements or each of them and abutting on or lying adjacent to the above named Street or area. Said improvements will be assessed against the properties within the above noted areas in whole or in part proportionately to each of the lands therein contained according to the benefits received. The total cost of the improvement is estimated at $58,000.00 DATED THIS 2ND DAY OF AUGUST, 1965, BY ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY.
