RESOLUTION NO. 138 -1965
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL
FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1964 -1
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the council on August 2, 1965,
the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of
Sanitary Sewer, Water and Storm Sewer.
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed
assessment roll has been completed and filed in his office for public
inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FRIDLEY, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall in the
City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, on the
7th day of September 1965, at 8:00 P.M. to pass upon
the proposed assessment for Street Improvement Project
No. 1964 -1
2. The City Manager shall publish notices of the time
and place of meeting in the official newspaper of
the City, at least two (2) weeks prior to such
meeting.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 2ND DAY
OF AUGUST, 1965.

NOTICE OF HEARING OF ASSESSMENT FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NUMBER 1964 -1
Notice is hereby given that the council of the City of Fridley will
meet at the City Hall in said City on the 7th day of September 1965, at
8:00 o'clock P.M. to hear and pass upon all objections, if any, to the
proposed assessments in respect to the following improvement, to -wit:
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 1964 -1
The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is now
on file and open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the
office of the Clerk of said City.
At said hearing the Council will consider written or oral objections
to the proposed assessments for each of said improvements.
The general nature of the improvements and each of them is the con-
struction of asphalt streets and concrete curb and gutter in the lands
and streets designated as follows:
(1) 77th Way or Avenue from East River Road to Railroad tracks. -
(2) 22 Street from 572 Avenue to 58th Avenue.
(3) 75th Avenue from Bacon Drive to McKinley Street.
(4) 1Bookview Drive (East -West portion) from Highway #65 West to end.
(5) 66th.Avenue from Pierce Street to Channel.
(6) Woody Lane South from present surfacing to cul de sac
(Meloland Lakeview Addition).
(7) 52nd Avenue from Taylor Street to Highway #65.
(8) Ironton Street from East River Road to Railroad tracks.
The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of
them is all that land benefited by said improvements of each of them and
lying within the general area of the above noted streets.
Said improvements will be assessed against the properties within the
above noted areas in whole or in part proportionately to each of the lands
therein contained according to the benefits received.
