RES 1965-143 - 00011443188 RESOLUTION NO. 143 -1965 A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE REPAIR OR REMOVAL OF THE STRUCTURE LOCATED AT 6881 T. H. #65 IN THE CITY OF FRIDLEY BY REASON OF ITS BEING A HAZARDOUS STRUCTURE WHEREAS, On July 26, 1965, Clarence Belisle, City of Fridley Building Inspector, inspected the property and reported the following existing conditions requiring the following or equal repairs necessary to alter this condition: EXISTING CONDITIONS A. OFFICE, LIVING QUARTERS BELOW 1. Cap loose S.E. & S.W. bedroom REQUIRED REPAIRS AND /OR ALTERATIONS 1. Repair and /or replace found- ation wall cap as necessary. 2. Basement wall coverings, floor 2. coverings, doors and door frames water soaked, rotten, rotting and badly deteriorated. 3. 1st floor walls and partitions are soaked inside and outside with water, the walls are bowed, the frame and studs are in questionable condition (roof gone). 4. Floor coverings are water soaked, unsanitary, and rotting. Condition of sub - flooring is questionable. Strip and replace all damaged wall coverings, floor cover- ings, doors and door frames. Check plumb and brace parti- tions and walls as necessary especially the north, east and west walls. 3. Strip walls, inspect frame and rebuild frame as required. Install complete new wall coverings. Replace roof. 4. Strip floor coverings and inspect sub - floor. Replace sub - floor as necessary. Install complete new floor covering. 5. Garage roof is gone. Garage walls 5. That a notice pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 1162.39 to 1162.110 concerning hazardous buildings be prepared by the City Attorney and City Manager, that said notice give the owners until November 16, 1965, to remove said hazardous condition or make the necessary repairs to correct the defects enumerated by the City Building Inspector; that said order be served on the owners as provided by said Minnesota Statutes and the City Attorney is authorized to proceed in District Court Anoka County to enforce said notice and order if the necessary corrective action is not taken by the owner. - MAYOR - i J.
