RESOLUTION No. 151 -1965
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES
OF THE COSTS THEREOF: SANITARY SEWER, WATER, AND STORM SEWER PROJECT NO. 73 -B
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property
owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements,
to -wit:
(a) Sanitary Sewer and water mains and Laterals and service
connection.
1. To serve all lots in Don's 5th Addition.
2. East West easement located approximately 250 feet south
of Mississippi Place between East River Road and River-
view Terrace.
3. North side of Osborne Road between East River Road and
railroad tracks.
(b) Storm Sewer and Appurtenances'.
1. Don's 5th Additon.
2. Ely and Dover Streets in the 500 block.
3. Fridley Street between 66th Avenue and 67th Avenue.
4. Mississippi Place at Riverview Terrace.
(c) That petitions relative to said improvements have been
received and filed wi th the City as follows:
1. Petition No. 6 -1965 relating to Item (a) 1, Item (b) 1.
2. Petition No. 13 -1965 relating to Item (a) 2.
3. Petition No. 38 -1961 relating to Item (a) 3.
fit. Petition No. 14 -1965 relating to Item (b) 2.
5. Petition No. 19 -1965 relating to Item (b) 3.
2. That Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers are hereby
authorized and directed to draw preliminary plans and specifications
and to tabulate the results of their estimates of the costs of said
improvements, including every item of cost from inception to completion
and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection
therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report
of their findings, stating therein whether said improvements are
feasible and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in connection
with some other improvements (and the estimated cost as recommended),
including also a description of the lands or area as may receive
benefits therefrom.
3. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of the
owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area of
lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements (and each
of them); and, upon receipt from said Engineer of the said preliminary
report, calculate estimates of assessments as may be proposed relative
thereto against each of said lands.

and convenient.
