A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY DIRECTING THAT A SPECIAL
BALLOT BE PALCED BEFORE THE VOTERS AT THE GENERAL ELECTION
TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF FRIDIEY ON NOVFMBER 2ND, 1965,
RELATIVE TO GETTING AUTHORIZATI,)N TO ISSUE GENERAL OBLIGATION
BONDS IN CONNECTION WITH HOUSING AND REDEVELOPHM PROJECTS
' WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Fridley,
Minnesota, has requested the City Council to submit to the voters of the
City at the next general election, namely November 2, 1965, a ballot on
the question of whether the City of Fridley be authorized to issue general
obligation bonds in connection with various housing and redevelopment
projects, and
WHEREAS, it does appear that there are three separate projects
involving disaster applications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Clerk be directed and authorized to prepare
ballots and publish notice of election for the general election of November 2,
1965, in the City of Fridley, Minnesota, on the following questions:
Shall the City of Fridley be authorized to issue its General
Obligation Bonds in an amount not to exceed $380,357.00 to
provide funds for parks, playgrounds, recreational, community, educa-
t':tion, water, sewer and drainage facilities, or any other
works which it is otherwise empowered to undertake, to be
furnished adjacent to or in connection with a housing and re-
development project for City Center Project? Yes . No
Shall the City of Fridley be authorized to issue its General
Obligation Bonds in an amount not to exceed $311, 050.00 to
provide funds for parks, playgrounds, recreational, community,
education, water, sewer and drainage facilities, or any other
works which it is otherwise empowered to undertake, to be
furnished adjacent to or in connection with a housing and re-
development project for University Avenue Project? Yes No
Shall the City of Fridley be authorized to issue its General
Obligation Bonds in an amount not to exceed $276,694.00 to
provide funds for parks, playgrounds, recreational, community,
education, water, sewer, and drainage facilities, or any other
works rh ich it is otherwise empowered to undertake, to be
furnished adjacent to or in connection with a housing and re-
development project for HiverView Project? Yes No
ADOPTED THIS 4TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1965.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council will submit to the voters
of the City of Fridley at the next General Election, namely November 2,
1965, three (3) separate ballots on the question of whether the City
of Fridley shall be authorized to issue General Obligation Bonds in
connection with various Housing and Redevelopment Projects as follows:
CITY CENTER PROJECT
Shall the City of Fridley be authorized to issue its General Obligation
Bonds in an amount not to exceed < "380,357.00 to provide funds for parks,
playgrounds, recreational, community, education, water, sewer and drainage
facilities, or any other works which it is otherwise empowered to undertake,

Bonds in an amount not to exceed $311,050.00 to provide funds for parks,
playgrounds, recreational, community, education, water, sewer and drainage
facilities, or any other works which it is otherwise empowered to undertake,
to be furnished adjacent to or in connection with a housing and redevelopment
project for University Avenue Project? Yes No
RIVERVIEW HEIGHTS PROJECT
Shall the City of Fridley be authorized to issue its General Obligation
Bond in an amount not to exceed $276,694.00 to provide funds for parks,
playgrounds, recreational, community, education, water, sewer and drainage
facilities, or any other works which it is otherwise empowered to undertake, is
to be furnished adjacent to or in connection with a housing and redevelopment
project for Riverview Project? Yes No
