RESOLUTION NO. 191 -1965
At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Fridley duly
held on the 18th day of October, 1965, the following Resolution was offered
by Councilman Sheridan; seconded by Councilman Wright; to -wit;
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Highways has prepared plans, special
provisions and specifications forthe improvement of a part of Trunk High-
way Number 156 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 47 within the corporate
limits of the City of Fridley from the S. Corp. Limits to 53rd Ave. N.E.;
and,
WHEREAS, said plans are on file in the office of the Department of
Highways, Saint Pa 1, Minnesota_, being marked, labeled, and identified as
0205 -18 & S.P. 2726 -27 (47 -156); and,
WHEREAS, said special provisions are on file in the office of the
Department of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled, and
identified as S.P. 0205 -18 & S.P. 2726 -27 (47 -156) Minn. Proj. F 081 -1(33)
which, together with the Minnesota Department of Highways Specifications
for Highway Construction, dated January 1, 1964, on file in the office of
the Commissioner of Highways, constitutes the specifications for said
improvement of Trunk Highway Number 156 renumbered as Trunk Highway.Number
47; and,
WHEREAS, copies of said plans and special provisions as so marked,
labeled and identified are also on file in the office of the City Clerk;
and,
WHEREAS, the term "said plans and special provisions" as hereinafter
used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and intended to mean, R
refer to, and incorporate the plans and special provisions in the fore-

going recitals particularly identified and described.
NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED, that said plans and special provisions for
the improvement of Trunk Highway Number 156 renumbered as Trunk Highway
Number 47 within the limits of the City of Fridley be and hereby are approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the elevations and grades as shown in said
plans and special provisions be and they are hereby approved and consent is
ttreby given to any and all changes in grade occasioned by the construction
of said Trunk Highway Number 156 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 47 in
accordance with said plans and special provisions.

Upon the call of the roll the following Councilmen voted in favor of
the Resolution: Mayor Nee, Councilman Sheridan, Wright, Kirkham.
(Councilman Thompson absent).
The following Councilmen voted against its adoption: None
whereupon the Mayor and presiding officer declared the Resolution adopted.

RESOLUTION N0: 192 -1965
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT AND CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON
THE MATTER OF THE COPE TRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS: STREET PROJECT ST. 1966 -1
WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed to be in the
interest of the Cityof Fridley and the property owners affected thereby.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That the preliminary report submitted by the City
Engineer is hereby received and accepted.
2. That this Council will meet on the 15th day of
November, 1965, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. at the City
Hall in the City of Fridley for the purpose of _
holding a Public Hearing on the improvement noted
in the Notice attached hereto and made a part
thereof by reference, Exhibit "A ". _
3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said
improvements and each of them as noted in said
notice are all the lands and areas- as ,noted in
said notice; all of the same to be assessed
proportionately according to the benefits received.
4. That the City Manager is authorized and directed to-

give notice of such Public Hearing by publishing a
notice thereof in the official newspaper of the City
of Fridley according to law, such notice to be
substantially in the form and substance of the notice
attached hereto as Exhibit "A ".
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, THIS 1ST DAY OF
NOVEMBER, 1965.
