RESOLUTION NO. 24 -1965
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1965 -1
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 13 -1965 of the City Council adopted the 4th
day of Januaty, 1965, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements,
as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference
as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council
Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and
the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing,
as noted in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council
Resolution No. 13 -1965 are hereby ordered to be effected
and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
a) The improvements as noted under the Construction Item
A in the Notice of Hearing (in Exhibit "A ") for the
following streets:

59th Ave.: 4th St, to 7th St.
60th Ave.: University Ave. to 4th St.

Polk St.: Hackmann Ave. to Lynde Drive
54th Ave.: 5th St. to 7th St.

2. The work to be performed under this project may be performed
under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon
receipt of bids.

3. The City Engineer is hereby designated as the Engineer for
this improvement. He shall prepare final plans and specifi-
cations for the making of such improvement.

NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1965 -1
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, has deemed it necessary and expedient that the improvements
hereinafter described be made.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 18th day of
January, 1965, at 8 :00 o'clock P.M., the City Council will meet at the
City Hall in said City, and will at said time and place hear all parties
interested in said improvements in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements in the construction (in the
lands and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit:

THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENT IS AS FOLLOWS:

All of tie land abutting upon said streets named above and all lands
within, adjacent and abutting thereto.
For Construction Item B, Above - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
The area proposed to be assessed for such improvement for all or
a portion of the cost of the improvement is the property contained within
the area above described.
All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to
the benefits received by such improvements.
That the Council proposes to proceed with each of said improve--
ments as separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided
by the Council, all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota
Statutes 1961, Chapter 429 and laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity
with the City Charter.
