RESOLUTION No. 72 -1965
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CONDEMNATION FOR CERTAIN STREET EASE-
MENTS - ST. 1965 -2.
WHEREAS, there is a need to acquire street easements for the
1965 -2 street program in the city of Fridley, and
WHEREAS, attempts have been made to acquire said easements by
negotiation but without success,
NO:r THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Fridley, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That it is necessary to acquire street easements for street
purposes in the 1965 -2 Street Program of the City of Fridley over the
descriptions set forth in the attached document. *
2. That the attorneys for the City are authorized and directed
to acquire such land by condemnation action in Anoka County District Court.
Motion for adoption of the resolution by Councilman Wright,
seconded by Councilman Sheridan.
Upon vote the following voted in favor thereof: All
The following voted against: None
Regular meeting of the City Council held on May 3, 1965.
WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

That part of Outlot 1, Block 1, Fridley Industrial Park Plat 1 des -
-cribed as follows: beginning at the Northwest corner of said Outlot
1, thence South 44 feet along the West line of said Outlot 1, thence
in a Northeasterly direction to a point in the North line of said
Outlot 1 located 460 feet East of the Northwest corner of said Outlot
1; thence West along the North line of said Outlot 1, 460 feet to the
point of beginning, thence terminating. All lying in section 12, T -30,
R -24, City of Fridley, County of Anoka, State of Minnesota.

Southwest Quarter (SW-4) of Section 14 that lies between the East
40 feet thereof and the following described line; beginning at a
point on the South right of way line of Mississippi Street located
88.53 feet West of the East line of said parcel, thence South par-
allel to the East line of said parcel a distance of 51 feet, thence
on a tangential curve to the left with a d27ta angle of 16018' degree
of curve of 10.380 and a radius of 551 feet for a distance of 157.03
feet, thence southerly in a straight line tangent to last described
curve a distance of 57 feet, thence on a tengential curve to the
right with a delta angle of 16018' degree curve 11.060 and a radius
of 490.25 feet a distance of approximately 45 feet to a point of
intersection with a line drawn parallel to and 40 feet west of the
East line of said East Half (E1+j) of the Sourhwest Quarter (SW4) of
Section, thence terminating all lying in the City of Fridley, County
