• RESOLUTION CREATING A SPECIAL TORNADO DISASTER FUND AND
• SPECIAL FLOOD DISASTER FUND
WHEREAS, the expenses incurred by the City of Fridley relating
to the flood and tornado disasters will be greater than the resources
available in the general fund,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that there is hereby created a
special tornado disaster.fund and a special flood disaster fund, out
of which shall be paid all of the expenses which could reasonably ex-
pected to be reimbursed by the Federal Government under Public Law
81 -875.
There shall be temporary bonds issued in sufficient amount to de-
fray the costs of such expenses. These temporary bonds shall be redeem-
ed at such time as reimbursement is received from the Federal Government.
Such bonds shall be purchased by the Regular Special Assessment Fund or
any other fund that has money temporarily idle with which to make invest-
ments in the bonds.
