RESOLUTION NO. 102 - 1966
A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTI-
MATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STORM SEWER PROJECT NO. 81.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 85 -1966 of the City Council adopted the 6th
day of June, 1966, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements, as
speci- fically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference as
Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice) were
given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council Hear-
ing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hear-
ing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted
in said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolu-
tion No. 85 -1966, are hereby ordered to be effected and com-
pleted as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
Storm sewer and appurtenances in and serving the area bounded as:
Commencing at the intersection of 73rd Avenue N.E. and Able
Street, thence east on 73rd Avenue N.E. to Highway #65, thence
north on Hip -hway #65 to Osborne Road, thence west on Osborne
Road to Able Street extended, thence south on Able Street to
plate of beginning,
pursuant to M.S.A. Sections 429.011 to 129.111
That the work above may be consolidated with other areas as
one improvement.
2. The work to be performed under this project may be performed
under one nr more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon
receipt of bids.
3. Suburban Engineerftg Company, Inc. is hereby designated as the
Engineer for this improvement. They shall prepare final plans
and specifications for the making of such improvement.
