RES 1966-111 - 00011129144 RESOLUTION NO. 111 - 1966 A RESOLUTION TO RATIFY THE VACATION OF THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 4 FLORENCE PARK ADDITION TO FRIDLEY BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota as follows: That the Fridley City Council has previously received a Petition from Milton E. Bailey, Doris M. Bailey, Ernest A. Petrangelo, Jeanne Petrangelo, Orlie D. Ekern, Carole L. Ekern, Richard W. Rose, Dorothy Rose, D.L. Scherer, Fay Scherer, Jerome J. Polkey and Alice E. Polkey, requesting the vacation of the alley in Block 4. Florence Park Addition to the City of Fridley; That, upmn receipt of said Petition, the Council ordered a public hearing to be held in the Village Hall on the second day of July, 1957, at 8:00 P.M.: That notice of said public hearing was published in the Fridley News on June 6, 1957, and June 13, 1957; That said public hearing was held on July 2, 1957, and that, following said public hearing, a motion was made, seconded, and passed, adopting the resolution to vacate the alley in Block 4, Florence Park Addition to the City of Fridley; That the Council minutes of July 2, 1957, state that the resolution vacating said alley is attached to the minutes; that said resolution has become lost, and that the present resolution is for the purpose of ratifying the previous action of the Council; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council does hereby confirm and ratify the vacation of the alley in Block 4, Florence Park Addition to the City of Fridley, and orders the City Clerk to put such action of record.
