A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS
AND ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS TH REOF: PROJECT NO. 83
(13!� MILLION STORAGE TANK REPAIR AND IMPROVEMENT)
WHEREAS, the City Engineer outlined by Memo (CM #28 -66) to the
City Manarer dated August 1, 1966, the need of repair and improvement
of the 1ts million gallon reservoir and the property surrounding it, in
' the Horizon Heights area,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of Fridley as follows:
11 That it appears in the interest of the City that certain
repairs and improvements be done to the 10 million gallon
water storage tank,
2. That Comstock & Davis, Inc., Colsulting Engineers, are
hereby authorized and directed to draw the preliminary
plans and specifications and to tabulate the results of
their estimates of the costs of said repair and '_mprove-
ments, including every item of cost from inception to
completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be -
incurred) in connection therewith, or the financing
thereof, and to make a preliminary report of their findings,
stating therein whether said improvements are feasible.
3. That said preliminary report of the Consulting Engineers
and estimates shall be furnished to the Council.
