RESOLUTION N0. 147 - 1966
A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1966 -1 (ADDENDUM #3)
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 127 -1966 of the City Council adopted the
15th day of August, 1966, set the date for hearing on the proposed improve-
ments, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for
reference as Exhibit "A", and
L;JMREAS, till Sf the property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council
Hearing throueh, two (2) weekly publications of the reouired notice, and the
hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as
noted in said notice. -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolu-
tion No. 127 -1966 are hereby ordered to be effected and com-
pleted as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
a) That the improvements as noted under the Construction
Item in the Notice of Hearing (in Exhibit "A ")
for the following streets:
Fairmont Avenue: From Broad Ave. to East River Road
(including Broad from Fairmont to Glencoe)
Fairmont Avenue: Starting 265.81 from Easterly R/W line of River-
view Terrace Road to Broad Avenue
That the work above may he consolidated with other areas as
one improvement.
2. The_ work to-be performed under this project may be performed
under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon
receipt of bids.
3. The City Engineer, Nasim Qureshi, is hereby designated as the
Engineer for this improvement. He shall nrepare final plans and
specifications for the making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 19TH DAY OF
SEPTEMBER, 1966.
