A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT, APPROVAL OF PLANS
AND AnDING PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF STREETS ONTO THE
EXISTING STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1966 -1,
SCHEDULE "A" (CHANGE ORDER #2)
WHEREAS, the Resolutions shown in front of the streets named
below, adopted by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the pro-
posed improvements, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing at-
tached hereto for reference as EXHIBIT "A"_� and
WHEREAS, all property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of the improvements (as noted in said notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the
Council hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required no-
tice, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at
the hearing, as noted in said notice.
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has an existing contract for Street
Improvement Project St. 1966 -1, Schedule "A ", with Dunkley Surfacing
Comnany, Incorporated, which provides that the City can attach additional
work up to 25% of the original contract Drice,
NOW, THERZFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by the Council
Resolutions are hereby ordered to be effected and com-
pleted as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
a) The following improvements as noted in the Notice
of Hearing:
Streets
Street Improvements, including grading, stabilized
base, hot -mix, bituminous mat, concrete curb and
gutter and incidental drainage, water and sewer ser-
vices, and other facilities for the following streets:
Public Hearing
Resolution
Farimont Avenue: From halfway between Broad and
Riverview Terrace to East River
Road (including Broad from Fari-
mont to Glencoe) #127 -1966
68th Avenue: Trunk Highway No. 65 to Channel
Road # 75 -1966
Adopted
That the work involved in said improvements as listed above shall
be added on to contract of:
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1966 -1, SCHEDULE "A ", BY
CHANGE ORDER #2
The Change Order #2, Street Improvement Project St. 1966 -11
Schedule "A ", as submitted bv the City Fn�ineer is hereby approved.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, THIS 17TH
DAY OF OCTOBER, 1966.
