RESOLUTION NO. 157 - 1966
A RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO REMOVE DEFICIENCIES
FROM THE EXISTING CITY HALL.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows;
WHEREAS, the Fridley- City Council has entered into contracts
to construct a new city hall; and
WHEREAS, it became necessary to deduct from the contract
for said construction that portion that would have remodeled the
existing city hall; and
WHEREAS, the City Eouncil has been informed that there
might exist certain conditions in the existing city hall that do
not meet the present building code; and
WHEREAS, the 6ity Council desires to remedy any deficiencies
that might exist,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Fridley City Council
direct the administration to inspect the existing city hall
building and report to the Council relative to any conditions that
do not meet the minimum building code requirements.
BE TT FURTPER RESOLVED, that the Fridley City council shall,
in the most economical manner, correct any deficiencies that shall
be reported to it by the administration.
