RES 1966-158 - 00011204RESOLUTION NO. 158 - 1966 A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW CITY HALL. BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, i "innesota, as follows: WHEREAS, the City of Fridley is in need of a new city hall; and WHEREAS, the citizens of Fridley have recognized this nedd by approving a bond issue to permit the construction of said city hall; and k.UEREAS. the Fridley City Council has engaged an architect who has completed plans and specifications for said city hall; dnd WHEREAS, "'bids for construction of the new city hall were opened on October 27, 1966, at 2:00 P.M.; and WHEREAS, the Council has determined that there is available sufficient funds to construct the city hall in accordance with the bids received; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Fridley City Council enter into the following contracts for the construction of the city hall: 1. General Construction D. M. Noyes Construction Company 100 West Franklin Avenue Minneapolis, Minnesota Base Bid: Deduct Alternates- G-1 - G-2 - G -4 - G-5 - TOTAL NET BID: $ 3532400.00 25,000.00 41,000.00 1,800.00 3,000.00 -7V2B2,b00.00 Total Deductions: $70,800.00 2. Mechanical Construction H. S. HORWITZ & Company, Inc. 1411 - 11th, Avenue South Minneapolis, Minnesota Base Bid $ 1$6,700.00 Deduct Alternate: M -2 - 28 680.00 Total Deductions $28,680.00 TOTAL NET BID: $ 118,020.00 3. Electrical Construction H. Hoffman Electric Company 1917 - 2nd Avenue South Anoka, Minnesota Base Bid: $ 59,566.00 Deduct Alternate: E-2 - 9 2.00 TOTAL NET BID: 0,3382 .00 Total Deductions: $9,238.00 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute the above contracts on behalf of the Cit,, of Fridley, ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 31ST DAY OF OCTOBER, 1966.
