RESOLUTION NO. 165 - 1966
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR 701 COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING
ASSISTANCE.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota as follows:
lrhIEREAS, the Fridley City Council has engaged Thomas H. Hodne,
professional planner, to advise it on municipal planning matters; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hodne has recommended that the City of Fridley
participate in a 701 Comprehensive Planning Program; and has prepared
a suggested planning program conta'ning an itemized list of the
component parts of said proposed program; and
WHEREAS, the Council, at this time, desires to submit an appli-
cation for planning assistance to those State and Federal asencies
that are required h-r la:r to review and approve said application; and
-WHEREAS, the Council has reservations regarding the necessity
for certain itemized portions of the proposed program which they
desire, at this time, to consider as optional;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Fridley City Council
approves the suggested comprehensive planning program for the City
of Fridley as submitted by Thomas H. Hodne.
'BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that with the above reservations that
the City of Fridley authorize Mr. Hodne to submit an application
for 701 Planning Assistance to the appropriate State and Federal
Agencies.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 21ST DAY
OF NOVEMBER, 1966.
